Past lives and parallel universes.
Have you ever felt a sense of déjà vu? A moment where you see circumstances in your life and it feels like you’ve done it before? Maybe you recognise your best friend and it feels like you’ve known them forever. The truth is you probably have.
All your experiences are repetitions of events that occurred through different periods of this planet’s existence. The theme or storyline of your life remains the same. But the time and location of experiencing your life will be a different experience every time.
Take for example our world today. Humankind has become so immersed in obtaining wealth, power, and control, that we have created an uncertain and unstable experience of life. Does this sound familiar? Have these themes reoccurred in our past?
The story of Noah’s Ark depicts a man who builds an Ark in anticipation of a major flood that wipes out the planet due to mankind’s corrupted ways. Across all religions and faiths, we find similar historical texts that have faded away out of existence through time. To investigate these stories, you would find a common theme in all of them.
We see this cycle play out in humanity many times throughout history. The Roman Empire itself began as a vehicle to provide a consciousness of freedom for people who felt oppressed under dictatorships in and around the provinces surrounding Rome. A conscious movement began where it galvanised a people to liberate the surrounding provinces. This liberation movement of consciousness evolved into a maintenance of peace and prosperity across the region. As the population of the empire grew in material wealth and ego, so too did the expanses of their borders. The Romans felt it upon themselves as a duty to share their sphere of culture and influence with the rest of the world. And in doing so, it became the largest empire of its time and of any empire before its history. They practiced forms of entertainment and governance through practices that today would be called barbaric. Their rule resulted in a newer form of oppression that epitomised every trait of the ego.
Over time, the practices of the Roman Empire became so transfixed on greed and power that it resulted in instability within its own borders. People rebelled and the empire collapsed. Can a similar storyline be seen in our world today? The story appears the same, the circumstances different.
What I am describing to you is a parallel universe. Time is a measurement that humans use on this planet to compare and identify different moments of physical experience. Outside of this planet is simply space where all things occur at the same moment. What you are experiencing now may be a reflection of a previous experience that is simultaneously occurring in an alternate universe.
