In healthcare, one of the most important aspects of assisting patients is observation. We observe behaviour, physical signs and symptoms, in order to obtain a diagnosis. One thing that I noticed in patients was the power of the mind.
Between 2008 and 2014, I lived in a small town in eastern Hungary. It was an amazing experience that taught me about how other people lived outside of Australia. One experience that remains vividly in my mind was witnessing a Neo-Nazi rally in the city centre.

In the beginning, there was light. This is a common phrase that can be found in the bible or referred to in the big bang theory. I’ve always asked myself whether this was true. And last year in September, scientists actually did prove that there was more to this theory than we previously imagined.
Everything in our universe was created out of a vibration of energy. This energy is something that for us as human beings, becomes very difficult to comprehend. Yet it can also be simplified to our understanding.
Have you ever felt a sense of déjà vu? A moment where you see circumstances in your life and it feels like you’ve done it before? Maybe you recognise your best friend and it feels like you’ve known them forever. The truth is you probably have.
Awareness is a term I use to describe truth. It is knowing more than what we already know. As we grow older, you’ll notice that our awareness of life is raised. A baby discovers that he/she can walk only through the trials of crawling.
