Joy comes first before growth.

These days there is a huge focus on personal growth and cultivating the right mindset. The willingness to face the inner emotional conflicts, the drive to find purpose in life, and live in one’s passionate excitement.

What I discovered in my search for all of these things was to understand the basis of thought. It is afterall from thought that manifests our world through the accumulation of momentary actions in life, day to day, month to month, and year to year.

And whilst I strived to grow myself as a human being, I neglected the most important thought of all. It is the thought that transcends thought itself. The non-judgemental observance of every thought in every moment gives rise to an inner world cultivated in pure bliss and joy.

It is from this joy that I have found amplifies every other thought that follows on from it. If I decide to create an opportunity, to learn a new skill, before even the contemplation and movement into such thought is firstly and always preceded by the nurturing of my statehood of being. My state of being must foremost begin from the roots and depths of pure joy for the experience of my life.

And the way life is divinely structured, filled with challenges, stressors, and suffering, it can be easy to forget the practice of self-care and self-love. It is monumental in shifting consciousness and the experience of your life. Take a moment to observe your state of being. What can you do to shift the way that you feel? How can you experience pure joy and what can you do right now to get yourself into that state?

The effort made in cultivating joy is really the basis of life. It is the basis of creation.

Joy = Love = Infinite Consciousness

In this embodied state of being, your commitment to making life decisions, to investing in personal growth, transformation, and education, takes on a heightened trajectory that causes an expansion in the constructs of your reality.

“With a heart unattached to the outer world, those who seek Me find joy and happiness.”
Lord Krishna, The Bhagavad Gita
