The difference between judgement and understanding.

There are many moments in my life where I found myself judging a situation or person. In fact most of my life I would judge myself. I was never good enough.

It took me a while before I realised that thinking this way wasn’t helpful. I noticed that I judged people around me because I judged myself.

Judgement is a habitual behaviour that is wired into the human condition. As humans we are animalistic. We have cognition that uses our brain to analyse what we are seeing and experiencing. If you glance right now at your phone or your computer screen and compare it to your physical body, logic tells you to discriminate. It is clear that what you are seeing and experiencing looks and feels different to your body.

The deeper reality of truth to all things is that what you are visually seeing is a part of you. Everything you see are moving atoms, particles, molecules, vibrations, and frequencies combining as a form of energy expressed to you in a certain way.

It takes understanding to realise and experience that you are the creator and created one of all things in your world.

This is why understanding expands awareness. The ability to see beyond what previously was accessible to you. When you become susceptible to judge another person, you are energetically blocking the expansion of your awareness and psychic ability to see beyond.

Just as anything we do in life, developing self-awareness takes effort and practice. Awareness of your thoughts, and catching them so that you can perceive the experience of your reality in a more inclusive way. This is true intelligence.

“When Mind is seen as all minds, there are no more words. In this understanding exists past, present and future.”
Lord Buddha, Seng-Ts’an
