What is suffering?
Suffering is a feeling that arises to show you what is separating you from the happiness that you actually are.
From the macrocosmic to microcosmic, we are all microcosmic versions of the macrocosmic universe. In fact we are all star particles of light dressed in an illusion that the brain, which is also an illusion, interprets as real and tangible.
What can only be real at the core of all things is that we exist beyond our physical understanding of who we are. This is a truth that reveals to us why there is human suffering.
If God, or the universe, or source….whichever word we choose to describe where we all came from, chose to experience Himself through us, what that means is that He had to separate Himself from Himself. And not only create this separation from within Himself, but to allow for the separation to forget themselves from where they ultimately came from.
It becomes a suffering when you don’t remember where you came from. You become lost, you search and search and search to no end. And the Creator sits there and waits patiently, and in anticipation for the parts of Him that were separated to eventually remember who they actually are. That they are the Creator themselves.
And in this discovery, the Creator and Created, ie us, become healed and whole again.
In life we undergo many sufferings. It could be through our relationships with our parents, with our friends or ex partners. It could be through our health and the debilitating effects it can have on our quality of life. It can happen through poverty and the search for financial freedom. Our suffering stems from our lack of understanding of who we actually are. When we understand or begin to comprehend what exists underneath the very real but illusory human body, the suffering that is experienced in life is over.
By learning to integrate your beliefs to the highest understanding of life, you become a healer for yourself and live as a healing example for others.
